My next few posts are going to be about my favorite scooter companies. First up is Genuine Scooter Company, maker of the Stella, Buddy and Black Cat. With a name like Genuine Scooter, you better make a helluva scooter, and boy do they. Their scooters are classy, cool looking and fun to ride. And they are very well made.
Based out of Chicago, they offer unique two wheeled transportation to a population of commuters that are in need of cheap transportation, in the days of gas guzzling SUVs running on $3.00 a gallon gas. Their scooters get around 80 mpg. How's that for fuel efficiency? They and their sister company Scooterworks USA, have been selling scooters in the US for nearly 20 years. They state on their website that they "strive to keep our customers and dealers happy, and offer the best warranty and service coverage in the business." If you are ever in the windy city stop by and see them, they'll appreciate it.
